One of the most encouraging films that a Christian could watch, this motion picture is a Christian version of "It's a Wonderful Life". Classic early film of current star

Reviewed on 3/31/2015, By Michael Leahcim
You've seen David White in a number of great Christian films in recent years (including "Encounter 2" & "God's Not Dead"); Second Glance was the first film I can remember seeing him in, and I've loved this film ever since. Yes, it's a few decades old, but the acting is very good and the story is both great and timeless. A teenage Christian feels like he is missing something by being "good"; an angel shows him what he is missing by making it "as if he had never been born again". Like the classic "Wonderful Life", this twist of fate shows the young man that he isn't missing anything worth having, and by being saved he is eternally the winner in the deal. If you have teens, spend a few bucks and watch/discuss this film together. You'll be glad you did.

Worthy of a Remake

Reviewed on 1/1/2012, By Joel
I have been watching a few Christiano films over the last few weeks and have enjoyed the creative plotlines and storytelling. This film certainly had a great concept, but it's not exactly the kind of movie you can watch with your friends without being completely embarresed by it's dated 80's feel. I'll be honest, I would even feel embarressed watching this with my Christian friends, but I also think it deserves a remake for today's modern culture. I think this can be said about all of the Christiano films prior the the year 2000, but regardless of that I look forward to seeing what they come up with next!

Totally Awesome!

This movie is brilliant. Like the culmination of the Christiano brothers past few years, it features all the right players: David White, Rich Christiano (Directing), and Lance Zitron. This trio went on to create another little gem you may have heard of called, "End Of Harvest." Anyways this one has a couple of my favorite scenes in all of christian cinema! Though I must admit that early Christiano Brothers productions are probably my favorite (with a close second being Edward T. McDougal). The sheer brilliance of the Christiano brothers is captured beautifully in this classic and I cannot recommend it enough!

very good

My daughter who is 13 yrs old started watching it. At first the story was a little cheezy and after the first 10 mins my daughter was bored so we turned it off, because the era was like the 70s so she did not want to watch it. A few weeks passed and I said let's give it another try with promising after the first 30 mins, if she still did not like we would not watch it. It's hard to grab a 13 yr old's attn. After 30 mins I could tell she was into it. The outcome was very encouraging for teens. I would say grab your family an give it a try. A child as young as 8 would enjoy it. It has a real positive message for all young and old. Be blessed, an support this film sponsor instead of Hollywood!

Reminds us we are being used for Christ.

A very encouraging movie, one of my favorites. Yes, it is slightly cheesy, mostly because it is dated and it's supposed to be high school, get over it, the movie is great! We have had it several years and I still love it. Really shows us what is happening as we walk through our Christian walk and the effect on those around us, even if we feel useless. Makes you think in whose life are you making a difference.
