Amazing Love - Church Showings

We are now renting for church and group showings a new film we have produced called
AMAZING LOVE: THE STORY OF HOSEA. This project has been a joint effort with another production team. The script was written by Greg Mitchell, Rich Christiano and Dave Christiano. The movie was produced by Daryl LeFever and directed by Kevin Downes. It was edited by Dave Christiano and the music was scored by Jasper Randall.

This movie is ONLY available for church and group showings. The DVD will not be available until the end of this year. We are doing this because we want to offer the church a unique event and something that no one else has.
THE STORY
Teenagers Steve, Carrie, Cooper, and Gameboy embark on a weekend camping trip led by their church youth group leader Stuart (Sean Astin) and his wife Beth. (Erin Bethea) Joining them is a teen outsider, Ashley, a self-involved rich kid, whose attitude causes a major commotion within the group, specifically with Carrie. With this conflict now in camp, Stuart takes the opportunity to share with the teens the touching story of the Old Testament prophet, Hosea and his example of faith, commitment, and unconditional love. Is this powerful story enough to inspire the teens to open their hearts to such an amazing love?
THE IMPACT
We believe this film will first, bring the prophet HOSEA to life and viewers will have a new appreciation of what he went through during his time. The Hosea character will be an inspiration to all! He was God's man during a rebellious time. Secondly, we believe the movie will be used to motivate teens and adults to appreciate and love one another "as they are". Thirdly, we feel strongly this film will help marriages and heal broken relationships through the steadfast, unconditional love portrayed by Hosea.
THE PROJECT
This was an expensive film to produce. The movie is told as a flashback and all the biblical scenes were filmed in Israel utilizing Old Testament looking locations and local extras.

THE GOSPEL
This movie has a very clear and heartfelt gospel presentation that is also visually shown through the character of Hosea.

We are offering this movie to churches on a donation basis hoping for a minimum requirement. In essence, the church will become a theater and a place where leaders can also follow up after the movie is shown.
