Aliyah by Steve Wiggins - CD

ALIYAH is an excellent collection of songs written by Steve Wiggins and is intended to be a blessing for anyone who has a heart for Israel. The ALIYAH CD helps prepare people of all ages to travel to Israel by directing their worship with lyrical imagery that is Hebraic; yet musically it is consistent with the worship music of the average Church. ALIYAH delivers a passionate and authentic worship experience without the presence of a modern drum kit or loud electric guitars...instruments which might offend pilgrims of the older generation.



ALIYAH is also designed to enhance the pilgrim's time in the land. Some of the songs are about specific places they will visit and help set-up context for teaching. Other selections are designed to enhance the general experience of being in Israel by establishing a worship context through which to connect to God. Lastly, ALIYAH helps the pilgrim fondly remember their experiences in Israel, once they return home. In essence, the music helps the "returned" pilgrim make "aliyah" every time they listen.

A five-time Grammy award nominee who has penned ten #1 radio singles including "Two Sets Of Joneses," "Choose Life," and "W.W.J.D.", STEVE WIGGINS continues to be one of the leading voices in Christian music.

His professional accomplishments include being honored with a BMI songwriter award and a 5-year seat on the Governor’s Board for the Memphis chapter of the National Recording Academy (NARAS). Wiggins has been an adjunct professor of commercial music songwriting at the University of Memphis and is currently providing ongoing mentoring for the Recording Academy’s “GRAMMY In The Schools” program.

Steve currently writes and leads music at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif. and also leads worship for Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie. In the summers, Steve helps guide college students on tours to Israel.
